The bronze-casting work demonstration offers a unique experience in an atmospheric old foundry established in 1955. The work demonstration also provides information on traditional casting methods and showcases various models used for casting up to 2,000-kg objects from iron. Old casting tools will also be on display. During the work demonstration, a model will be used to create a mould in a sand-casting frame (also known as a flask). Over 1,000-degree molten bronze will be poured into the casting flask. Once the mould has cooled, it will be opened, revealing a stunning bronze casting – only in need of a few finishing touches – made using a traditional sand-casting technique.

Price for 60 minutes demonstration starting 135 €/ group of 20 persons. Bigger groups can be divided to follow the demonstration in consecutive presentations. Please contact us for more info.
