Path of the Paddle

Welcome to Bearhill Husky, Rovaniemi’s premier independent husky kennel. The company was founded in 2003 in Lieksa in North Karelia and since 2012 we have been offering high quality sleddog tours in Rovaniemi. It’s our passion to work with dogs, breed them, train them and let them be the best dogs they can be. At Bearhill, both our dogs and guests deserve the best!

Finland is known for its 168.000 lakes. There is no more relaxing way to experience these lakes in summer than paddling your own canoe. This paddling excursion will take place on lake Viiksjärvi right next to our kennel.
Our professional guide will instruct you how to safely canoe on the lake, and you get to enjoy the peaceful nature of Lapland. After canoeing you’ll get to enjoy a snack around the campfire.
