Experience a touch of northern magic in Finland’s southernmost reindeer park in Nuuksio, 30 km / 30 min from Helsinki city center and from the airport. A family- owned reindeer park is located in the middle of Nuuksio National Park.
We are open on separately mentioned days mostly on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm – 3pm (1pm – 4 pm in summer season). You can come in any time between this time limit without registration in advance. It is not a big place so about 1 hour is usually enough time to stay there but of course you can stay the whole time if you want.
Entrance fees: 25 € adult, 10 € child (4-11 yrs.), 60 € family (2 adults+2 children), 0-3 y. free of charge.
Mining pass: 25 € entitles to dig one lucky raw amethyst stone from the amethyst mining shelter.
Student card: -10%.
Ticket to Reindeer Park includes lichen for feeding the reindeer, our staff tells you about reindeer, campfire coffee and bun over an open fire in the atmospheric Lappish Teepee. Souvenirs and e.g. sausage to grill by a campfire can be purchased on site. Santa Claus is visiting the Reindeer Park during weekends in December and then we serve warm glogg and gingerbreads.

You can reach the Reindeer Park easily by commuter train U, E, L from Helsinki Central railway station to Espoon keskus (Espoo center) and by bus no 245(A) from Espoo railway station to Nuuksio. Bus stop PUNJONSUO (two stops after the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia).
There is a parking space for your own car. From the parking place you walk about 60 m along a plank path to the reindeer park and there are a few steps at the end.
