Apukka Resort – Rovaniemi, Lapland

On this tour, we head to Korouoma Canyon, a famous natural attraction and trekking area about 1,5 hour drive from Apukka Resort. Korouoma is about 30 kilometers long northwest-southeast valley. It is part of hundreds of millions of years old bedrock fracture zone. The area offers many possibilities for hiking, bird watching and learning more about nature with our professional guides.

There are several natural attractions and viewing points along the hiking route. Fracture valley forms a gorge with cliffs and which in some places are vertical and dozens of meters high. Areas formed by huge boulders and rock are an impressive sight at the bottom of the valley.

Transfers, guiding and light lunch by the campfire.

This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 7 or people with disabilities. The route has steep climbs and downhills.
