Off the Tracks Ski Tour

Fell Trek was founded in 1982 in Kittilä, Lapland. We want to show people the beauty of our forests and fells, lakes and rivers and make them more reachable. That’s why we specialize in guided nature activities. We are a small family business located in Lapland, Finland and organize different types of guided tours in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and surrounding area. We believe that in this hectic and loud world you sometimes need a break. And the best place to take it, in our opinion, is in nature. When you combine it with meeting new people and eating good food, what could be better?

As we say in here in Lapland: ”Ken latua käy, on ladun vanki. Vapaa on vain umpihanki.”
This roughly translates to ”The track decides where you go, free is only untouched snow.”

On this week long (8 days / 7 nights, 6 skiing days) guided skitour you have the chance to explore the wilderness and Lappish nature by skiing without machine-made tracks. Every day we ski 5-6 hours including breaks in forest and fell areas of West Lapland and National Park of Pallas-Yllästunturi. The day distance is 15-25 kilometers. Accommodation is in rooms for 2-6 persons / dormitory in sleeping bags.

This tour is best suited for those who already have some experience in cross-country skiing and ski touring.
